Working our way up to the Exumas...

Off we went, and anchored off Mayaguana, Ackling Islands, Long Islands and Conception before reaching Georgetown, Exuma.

We met dolphins in Clarence Town and Georgetown Harbours.  We played for hours on end with them in the water...amazing to experience such connections with wild animals once you gain their trust.

A nice get together with the crew of s/v Pascana and s/v Magia

A surprise visit from the Guldi family on their chartered s/v Maeva!

Shallow banks - Turks & Caicos Isl.

Circumnavigating Fort George Cay

On the very shallow Caicos Banks, a few miles out...

...a freighter wrecked during Hurricane Frances in 2004.
took the dinghy and went ahead to climb onboard using a net on the side of the boat - fun exploration.

May 26-June 2 in the BVI: the Beautiful, I mean British Virgin Islands

Not much to report in the BVI as the week was spent trying to locate good internet to get a lot of work done.  I am happy to report we did find good and free internet at Deadman's Bay on Peter Island (Thanks Dennis & Wendy for the tip).

And not a bad place to be:

Then off we went to Soper's Hole to provision for our passage to the Turks & Caicos Islands and fill out the check out formalities with the BVI's Customs & Immigrations.
