From the Abacos, Bahamas, we made our way back to the mainland via Brunswick, Georgia, Charleston, SC, Beaufort, NC, and then straight to Solomons, MD. Cape Hatteras (the Graveyard of the Atlantic) did not pose any problem. We reached on Friday August 1, 2014 welcomed by our friends the Purrings.

Charateristic of the month of July, the weather was unsettled, with too little wind or too much, squally, and stormy with lots of lightning. A sign that it was high time to head back to
terra firma.

It is the end of our adventure - definitely one of a kind for us. We all got transformed by it, and all its effects are still to be seen and felt as life unfolds.
