Mustique is a private island run by Mustique Company with only 120 development plots and shareholders to preserve the island’s character, retain exclusivity, and prevent over-development.  Plots were bought by socialites, rock stars (Mick Jagger), designers, and artists and private individuals and attract royalty. To visit, we rented a mule and went around the island on the road and off-road.  A different atmosphere for sure.
